What is your title? What do you do at Rung?
Chief Advancement Officer. My role is to advance Rung’s mission and lead the advancement team which includes:
What do you like most about working at Rung?
There are so many things I love about working at Rung! First, it’s the incredible women I get to meet—from our staff and members to employers, volunteers, and donors. But what I love most is being part of building something new that really works! Helping women discover their strengths, find their voices, build confidence, and create opportunities for themselves and their families. It’s pretty amazing to be part of something that can truly change lives.

What has been your favorite project to work on?
It’s so hard to pick a favorite! Helping establish Rung’s endowment has been incredibly rewarding because I know it will support women long after my time at Rung. Drag Me to Brunch is hands down the most fun—it’s such a joyful, inclusive celebration of everything Rung stands for. Lately, I’ve really enjoyed working with Sheena on branding and launching our new programs, and helping Meghan build our alumni program so women can stay connected to Rung and each other. I love that I get to work on so many different things, all of which have the potential to make a lasting difference.

Who are your personal sheroes, women you look up to?
My personal sheroes are the women with whom I share the deepest and most meaningful relationships: my mom, Lelia; my sister, Kathie; my lifelong friend from high school, Amy; my best friend from college, Sarah; and my daughter, Isabel. Each of these remarkable women has shaped who I am in different ways. I admire their strength, wisdom, resilience, and authenticity, and I am continually inspired by the way they navigate life. They remind me that the women who have the greatest impact on our lives are often the ones who know us best, love us unconditionally, and inspire us simply by being themselves.

How have you grown since working at Rung?
I’ve grown in so many ways! Working at Rung has pushed me to think differently about leadership, be more creative, embrace change, and get comfortable figuring things out as we go. I’ve learned so much from the incredible women we serve. Most of all, Rung has reminded me how much I love learning, working with great people, trying new things, and being part of building something that really makes a difference.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I love spending time with family and friends, and these days, a lot of that time is spent with my amazing 91-year-old mom! I love to read and have been in the same book club for more than 15 years. I also enjoy cooking, snow skiing, Pilates, working out, and just hanging out with the people I love.

What book, podcast, artist, or playlist are you currently into?
I just finished reading Theo of Golden and have The Calamity Club on my nightstand. Dom and I love live music! We saw Ray LaMontagne last month and are seeing Sting this month. And lately, I’ve been listening to Amy Poehler’s podcast, Good Hang, which I love!
