1. What is your title? What do you do at Rung?
I’m the full-time Day Administrative Coordinator on the Operations Team. Every day at Rung is a little different and that’s what I love about it! I greet members and guests with a smile, support our staff, and help make sure everyone feels welcome and cared for.
2. What do you like most about working at Rung?
I love the positive energy here. Every day I get to connect with incredible women who are working toward their goals and to be part of a team that truly believes in supporting and uplifting one another. I’m surrounded by amazing coworkers who are not only talented and hardworking, but also thoughtful, kind, and encouraging. Our leadership team truly sets the tone, creating a culture of respect, teamwork, and growth that makes Rung such a special place to work.
3. What has been your favorite project to work on?
Projects and daily responsibilities vary when working on the Operations Team, but my favorite recurring project is entering new member photos into the BadgePass and Salesforce programs. It gives me a chance to become familiar with incoming members’ faces so I can start recognizing them when they enter the building. I love when that recognition turns into a warm greeting or friendly conversation. It helps members feel seen and appreciated from the moment they walk in.
4. Who are your personal sheroes, women you look up to?
My mom passed on her strength and courage to me, which has helped me overcome difficult situations throughout my life. I also look up to my daughters and daughter-in-law. They inspire me with their determination and the fresh perspectives that come from our generational differences. I admire our CEO, Leslie Gill, as well. She’s the first female CEO I’ve ever worked for, and I’m inspired by her vision, authenticity, and the way she empowers others to succeed.
5. How have you grown since working at Rung?
Working at Rung has helped me grow both personally and professionally. I’ve become more confident and adaptable, and I’ve learned to approach new challenges with optimism and grace. Being surrounded by such supportive teammates has encouraged me to keep learning and growing every day.
6. What do you like to do in your free time?
I love spending time with family and friends, trying out new restaurants around St. Louis, and relaxing with a good movie. I also love having my hands in the dirt gardening and exploring creative hobbies. It’s my kind of therapy!
7. What book, podcast, artist, or playlist are you currently into?
I’m not really into any specific podcast or artist right now. I’m more of a mood DJ! What I listen to totally depends on the day. And honestly, if “quiet” counts as a playlist, it’s definitely in my top 10.
