Our mission at Rung is to help women climb the economic opportunity ladder.  To do so, our program focuses on helping women pursue and attain careers in industries with higher salaries and potential for upward growth that doesn’t require a bachelor’s degree.  We are in need of professional volunteers who will work with our members to prepare them for their careers. With just a few hours of your time, you can help Rung members succeed professionally.

If you have worked as a project manager, project coordinator, project team leader, product manager, or comparable role .

We are also in need of:

  • Technical Support: A Technical Support hosts virtual “help desk” or “office hours” to answer questions our members have as they navigate their technical training. 
  • Study Group Leader: A Study Group Leader assists members during their technical training by hosting study group sessions on Rung’s campus. 
  • Career Simulation Actor: A Career Simulation Actor helps our members practice what they learn in Professional Power Skills. It’s like a professional role play-you would play an actor helping a member negotiate a salary, receive feedback from a supervisor, and settle a dispute with a colleague.   
  • Career Exploration Volunteer: We are looking for volunteers with experience to demonstrate “a day in the life” activities, host informational interviews, and speak about your career.
