OUR PROGRAM

At Rung, we believe that every woman has the power to transform her own life. Rung’s mission is to empower women to grow and achieve sustained independence through co-located and coordinated educational, professional, and economic resources. We bring providers under one roof to create a “one-stop-shop” for career and personal growth – all at no cost to our members.

MEMBER EXPERIENCE 101

Rung begins with a six-month, cohort-based program called Member Experience 101 (or “ME 101”). Women (who we call “members”) will work with a personal coach to define their career goals, along goals related to wealth-building and well-being.

At the same time, she will build a community of support with other like-minded women ready to make a change. Her coach will remain an accountability partner as she navigates her individualized path through the Rung program, which could take an additional 6 -18 months.

OUR CAREER PROGRAM

Members will then enter Rung’s Career Program, where they will gain valuable skills and access to training and credential opportunities that ensure a fast-track to a high-demand job with a family-sustaining wage or a pathway to grow in their current field.

Rung’s Career Navigators will work with each member to support them in determining their unique path to professional advancement.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

To make it more convenient for members to work toward their goals, Rung has brought several organizations under one roof that will offer a variety of personal development opportunities and assistance, including:

  • Counseling
  • Health Care
  • Nutrition education
  • Gardening workshops
  • Fitness Classes
  • Yoga
  • Mindfulness
  • Financial education

These offerings are provided by Rung’s Co-Designers, nine existing organizations that have demonstrated effectiveness in what they do. They include:

Rung also offers childcare and healthy grab-and-go meals on-site to further eliminate the barriers a member may have to realizing success.

Rung for Women plans to open its first cohort in early 2021
