What is the purpose of the assessment? What if I don't do well?
The initial assessment is designed to help us better understand your current skill set and begin an open conversation about career paths that would be the best fit for you. Your assessment score is not necessarily a condition of admission to the program.
What if I am not interested in a career in technology or geospatial? Should I still apply?

No. (*Not at this time)

All potential members will choose between 2 career verticals: Technology or Geospatial. Within those verticals, there are a wide variety of different possible careers and roles for them to explore.

*In the future, we will be expanding our Career Verticals to include Advanced Manufacturing (Summer 2023) and others, so stay tuned!

What is the application deadline? When does the program begin?

The application for our Spring 2023 Cohort will be open from December 15, 2022 – February 15, 2023. Accepted applicants will begin programming in April 2023.

What kind of time commitment should I expect?
Time commitment will vary depending on the career track and subsequent training that you choose. However, we tell members to expect to dedicate at least 6 hours (2 evenings) a week for an average of 9 months.
What if I live outside of St. Louis? Can I still apply?
Currently, our programming requires that members be able to attend in-person trainings at our facility in south St. Louis regularly (an average of 2 evenings a week). Please consider if you are able to make that commitment before applying.
What if my income is more than $50,000?

If your personal earned income is over $50,000 and you have unique circumstances, we will take that into consideration during the admissions review process.
