It’s about more women making more money

Once members are ready to start their career track, Rung’s Career Services offers a variety of ways to work with members to identify their career goals. Through upskilling, reskilling, or finding a new job role altogether, member will work with our Career Navigators to identify their needs.

Women in Missouri typically make $0.78 for every dollar paid to men. Black women in Missouri typically make $0.67 cents for every dollar paid to white men. (National Women’s Law Center)
In the US, Women are eight times more likely to work in occupations with poverty-level wages and hold only 36% of middle-skill occupations that pay at least $35,000 (Institute for Women’s Policy Research)

As of February 2021, women’s participation in the workforce was 55.8% – the same rate as April 1987. And women of color and those working in low-wage occupations have been the most impacted
