Annual Alumni Survey

Rung will conduct an annual alumni survey for the purpose of enhancing our programmatic offerings. You are a crucial part of ensuring continued advancement and development for all members and alumni.

This information will be used to reflect cumulative progress regarding alumni after completion of the program.

Many of you have had data collected during your time in the program. We will be asking for updates to show your progress and career growth.

While your responses are not anonymous, the data will only be looked at in aggregate by the alumni and program teams.

“I am extremely proud of myself. With Rung in my life I’ve been able to achieve so much in so little time. Just because of the training, the support, all of that together has allowed me to make strides that I don’t think I would’ve been able to make without Rung.”

Briston Ashe

“Rung was like the missing puzzle piece. I felt stuck and unsure how to move forward. Rung helped me move through that by helping me articulate my professional goals and work towards them, and by providing a safe environment to foster the natural growth of my self-confidence. Healthy meals, free therapy sessions, and one-on-one support from a career coach were pillars of support along the way. I knew that joining Rung would be a journey, and for me it was such a worthwhile one. I ended up successfully transitioning careers, and now I’m continuing to learn and put myself out there in ways that I wouldn’t have before joining Rung. I wouldn’t be quite where or who I am today without this experience!”

Tangela Williams-Spann is an alumna from our first cohort. Since completing the program, she has received a new position with one of our active employer partners, Cushman Wakefield, as a Portfolio Administration Coordinator. She has increased her salary from $18/hour to $24.75/hour, gained confidence about her career goals, and has been actively participating in alumni programming. Tangela recently attended a wellness workshop and had the following to add about her Rung Alumni experience:

“I attended the Balance and Thrive Wellness workshop and had a wonderful time. It was a fabulous reminder to speak kindly to myself and to make sure I remember to make myself a priority.”
