What could change in your life if you committed to just 10 hours a week for one year? What about getting that promotion at work, or making a pivot in your career? That’s what Rung for Women’s no-cost program aims to help women do: excel in their careers and make overall positive changes in their lives.

This year-long program comes with challenges of time, growth, and commitment—and it’s designed to transform your career and your confidence. It can feel daunting to make a year-long commitment, but we want to offer a reminder: “You’re going to be a year older anyway—why not be a year into a new career path, too?”

How Rung Supports Its Members

Let’s take a look at “a day in the life of a Rung member,” including some of the amenities that Rung offers its members to support them in their journeys.

  • Receive a warm welcome from front desk staff.
  • Drop little ones off with Child Watch – available for potty-trained children ages 3–12.
  • Enjoy Supper Club from 5:15 – 6:00 PM—free food, connection, and community.
  • Attend coaching, workshops, and other group or individual sessions.
  • Pick up fresh produce during growing season on select weekdays.
  • Drop by the gym, sneak in a quick session, enjoy shower time.
  • It’s not just a program—it’s a holistic experience.

What You’ll Receive from the Program

One of the main tenets at Rung is supporting our program members through holistic coaching experiences. There are three ways we do this:

  • Career coaching tailored to your goals. Our coaches provide hands-on and personalized coaching to all members.
  • Financial coaching to strengthen money habits and planning. Through workshops and more, our members learn how to effectively spend and save money.
  • Wellness coaching to support the whole member—body, mind, and spirit. Our wellness team cares deeply about the holistic success of our members.

Outside of coaching, members can expect to receive the following and much more:

  • Emotional support and accountability from a trusted community.
  • Career clarity and confidence.
  • A supportive network that sees you and believes in you.
  • Building skills that lead to real change.

What’s Expected of You

Now to answer one of the biggest questions: what does Rung expect of its members? Our program invites members to be flexible with their time and energy, sometimes in ways they’ve never experienced before. For example, balancing an existing full-time position with 10 hours a week of additional work isn’t always easy. But through virtual appointment options and online learning tools, members are able to flex the program to fit their needs in many ways. Here are some further details about the program’s requirements:

  • Time: 10 hours a week isn’t easy—you’ll have to say no to some things to say yes to yourself.
    • This may mean sneaking in work while the kids are napping/in bed.
    • This requires members to utilize time-blocking and prioritization skills in a way that may be unfamiliar to them.
  • Effort: Learning new things, managing your time, shifting habits.
    • Members won’t find success just by simply absorbing the information presented to them; they will need to engage with programs, tools, and people in new ways.
  • Openness: Vulnerability, asking for support, letting yourself be seen.
    • Many members say that being vulnerable is one of the toughest challenges in the Rung program. Being perceived is challenging alone—but being perceived while moving through a program that challenges members to allow themselves to be held, emotionally and psychologically, is brand-new frontier for most.
  • Commitment: Show up, grow, and stay the course.
    • The program works when members work. Success doesn’t come to those who lie in wait. It comes to those chasing after it.

Engaging in a year-long program that requires additional hours on top of your everyday life may sound challenging, but you’re not alone when you’re a Rung member. You’ve got this, and you’ve got us. By saying yes to yourself, you make space for change and growth to happen. While that change and growth may require vulnerability, honesty, and confidence building, it will also help set your future into motion. Rung isn’t just a program. It’s a launchpad. And we’re with you every step of the way.
